  2. Do you experience tenderness and intermittent sharp pain over the bony point at the side of your hip?
  3. Is your pain aggravated by lying on your side or activities where you are standing on one leg, such as dressing, walking and stairclimbing?
  4. Is your hip pain bad at night?
  5. Did you feel your pain over the side of the hip during the single leg standing test?
  6. Did you feel your pain over the side of the hip during the seated FADER-R test?

Answering yes to all or most of these questions increases the chances that you do have gluteal tendinopathy, also referred to as trochanteric bursitis or greater trochanteric pain syndrome.
